you prolly don't have the chip properly installed. (or you fried xbox in intallation) regardless of if you have a bios isntalled yet, you shoulnd't frag. anyways try posting this in the proper section, might help.

I used a soderless adapter it shouldnt be fried.......i installed it correctly but i still have 10 rivets left

FRAG means you have a good D0 connection.  And it also  means that you do not have a valid BIOS in the xchip to boot from.  The USB thing is for you to flash the xchip with BIOSs.  download the xcontrol software to flash/manage you BIOS.

Try posting in the correct forum...this forum is for flashing the TSOP not modchips.

Please read the X-Chip Master Install Guide for the proper procedure in installing the X-chip in your Xbox. Also if you read the last page of that same guide it explains the purpose of the "button" on the USB interface board.
