I traded a the chip for doing a softmod, cuz the guy didn't want to have anyone solder anything(v1.6 box)
and he didn't have the pin header
i got it out, just took some convincing with the iron
and the box still works
but thanks for the help
i've now got a new dvd come (thanks ebay) and the pin header

BTW radio shack will not have a 2 by 6 they sell bigger strips yoiu just cut them to your size you want.

PS. You probably can order pin header from M$ directly you moron, and you probable asked for wrong parts and search for wrong parts.
And BTW, addison , and active surplus have tons in stock and most other computer stores on Queen St.
