I too love this chip.  It was the first one I've ever used, but it went in perfectly on my 1.6 box.  I have a couple of friends that are drooling over my box now, and I am recommending this chip if they decide to mod thier boxes.

The USB flashing board is great and I don't have any problems at all with my SP2 laptop doing the flashing.  The laptop was installed with a SP2 slipstream disk, though, not an update from the Windows Update site.

Flashing through X-Control works fine with SP2 here also
