Title: Can't Lock Maxtor 4a160j0 (ebay $60 Hdd)
Post by: sparkac on October 10, 2003, 05:47:00 PM
not all hard drives can be locked even if one other hard drive of the same model can, that doesn't mean they are defective. try reselling it on ebay and get a new one or stick it in your pc

isn't there a plain xbe on xbins that locks your hard drive also? in the folder with the eject, load, shutdown, and reboot xbe's. I haven't tried it, but maybe it will work. Who knows?

Nevermind, I just checked it out. Inside the folder it was just source code, not an actual xbe.
