Sounds like your using solderless adapter, verify aligment is good and teh screw is snug and the plastic on the solderless adapter is touching the xbox motherboard.
The flashing lights is actual fragging, basically means modchip not attached properly or bios on modchip corrupted, but since you dont mention loading a bios to chip I can assume 1st not attached properly.
-
well i have tried the rubbing alcohol but the chip is properly installed, because the red light turns on. i am gonna try the rubbing alcohol. Plus i have already try installing a bios but it doesnt work.
thanks
-
ok. what i want u to do is put the cromwell factory bios back on the xchip that the full.bin file.
Just to make sure the xchip is wkring 100%
then RECHECK your d0
also.. unplug te chip form the solderless adaptor then boot up the xbox (yet leave the sodlerless adaptor on the mother board) and c if it boots up normaly..
then let me know what happens.
so try those first.
if u need anything just ask!

If your box is starting/stopping how do you know the bios is working??
Verify solderless adapter install and all pins are alligned and plastic is flush with motherboard of xbox.
-
When do i know if the chip is the problem cause when my xbox was working properly even with that the crownwell bios didnt show up. So i am starting to think that is the chip the problem. Can somebody tell me if i am right?
-
does the light on the xchip come on?
-
I just bought one of these last week and I noticed an announcement on their website about what to do if you received a bad chip recently. Mine was okay, but I can assume from the announcement that some number of bad chips must have been shipped.
-
yeap, The light on the xbox comes out but the cronwell bios never comes out, from the beginning. So maybe the chip is deffective.
thx
P.S. The Light in the xchip is properly working but the crownwell didnt show up.
