Are you using solderless adapter or pin header install?

Did you verify D0 for this unit?

D0 is where the spring clip goes.  Since you had a chameleon you would had alligned the D0 spring as well on it.

Do  a search here and determine your Xbox version and then do a search for D0 on that version of Xbox.

Well Ijust searched and found a forum that explained a lil better to me what the DO was...On the X-chip it appears to be a lil hole at the top of the chip..Where does that need to be connected to....I never had to mess with that on my chameleon installs...Thanks for any help!!

Lol, no that hole is only for the soldered installation. On your solderless adapter, there is a small wire comming from the adapter, and that needs put into a small VIA on the motherboard. One quick question though, how are you trying to put  M8 on the xchip? Another quick question, is the the M8 XCHIP bios, or just M8?

the bios is evoxM8 because what i have read. This bios takes full advantage of the chip...(TRUE or NOT)?????

Also in the past ive used Xecuter bios, simply because when you booted the xbox and the bottom of the screen it said XECUTER,,,which meant a sign of success.. Can I use an xecuter bios with this X-chip or should i stick with the evox M8?
