i getting this error writting Modul! what is the problem with it is it just the programer that is screwed up or is it the user

Also, make sure you delete the old BIOS if your re-flashing. Use Winlpc.exr to delete the old one, and use it to flash if you want (XP.exe didnt work for me)

do u have to rename the bios to flash the chip with the programmer.

Another thing that'll help...noticed this with my programer:

With your hand..hold the chip to the programer tightly while programming. There seems to be a loose connection and doesn't sit properly.  (Have seen this with 4 different people using this so far..each time, holding them together did the trick)

also make sure the dip switches on the mod chip are set right or the programmer won't read the chip at all
