Why not set the dips on the Chameleon to boot by default from another
bank besides bank 0, then flash it from Evox dash.

I bought a brand new battery, and then did the usb trick as well. Still no joy.

Anyway, I've been toying with the idea of getting an X-Bit chip for a couple of reasons (easy muti-bios selection and usb flashing) so this seemed like as good a time as any.

So I've ordered a new x-bit which should arrive tomorrow. I get that, and my mate gets my old xodus. Problem solved!
