mine did the same thing..Did you buy the programmer...If not you might need to buy one..Its like $12 @easybuy2000...Then just flash your bios of choice with the programmer,,Its that easy,,,That seemed to fix my problem,,,except for the red light, I thought when it was working fine it would be blue,,,but its still red and it works great...Hope I helped

Make sure you are using DVD-r and the bin file is named linuxbio.bin and preferably a nice large dummy file like a divx movie renamed aaaaaaaa.aaa

chuck these on to a dvd in iso9660 format (mode 1 restricted) with no multisession and no joliet

once written boot machine

flash will happen in 2 minutes nothing will happen with the easybuy version for 2 mins its programmed that way

good luck

Chris

That all depends on the type of Drvie you have.

Samsung = Pretty much any media, may have some issues with DVD+Rs

Phillips=Pretty much any CD-R, CD-RWs, may have some issues with DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs,DVD+Rs, DVD+RWs,

Thompson=Almost any DVD-Rs, Most of DVD+Rs, some DVD-RW and DVD+RW.  Very few CD-RWs (i heard Memorex works well, but i couldn't get it to work) and almost none of CD-Rs.

Hope that helps.
