also, taking a look a bit on this forum could help you a lot.. there is at least 10 poste in the first 2 page about that kind of problem
btw you probably have a crapy Thomson drive, and will need to use a DVD-R/RW media or a programer to get it running.

yes you can use DVD-RW if your drive like this..
use nero, nero will detect that you have a DVD media in your drive and will give you 4.37gb of space (same as tutorial, but with bigger dummy files)
"Stupid EB2k" chip are the exact same as Chameleon you were buying few month ago.. EB2k was making chip for xodus, they only changed the led and the default cromwell bios..

just use Slayer 2.5Final Installation CD, it will install your dashboard and all software needed to transfer game from your dvd drive to the xbox and then use ftp to copy them to your computer..
but try to flash bios first, if everything is going well, then you will pass to the next step (slayer)
not bad for a guy that don'T even have a modchip yet euh ?

thats nut lol well im gonna try to burn it right now and hopefully you guys will still be here hey wait! i got another question i bought 2 mod chips 1 from eb2000 (but they took my money and didnt send till a month later) so i got sick and bought one form another place but this one is different and when i stuck it in it didnt sho anything on the screen is it broken??

IF the other chip is Chameleon 1.3 (blue led), it come with Cromwell 1.8 in it. if your Xbox is V1.4 or 1.5, it won't work at all.. you will need a programer to flash it. Only Cromwell 2.27 support new xbox

but since december 16th, they have they own chip in stock and they test it before shipping (well at least this is what they say) so I might have luck, i'm about 100km from them anyway.. may always get a ride and see them

yea I have see that
but like forum, you didn't really see ppl that have a sucess mod on forum, only those that have problem.

if you don't have any frags (flash red and green):
put slayer cd in then close the xbox
after few seconds, restat the xbox (with slayer cd in it)
It should start with slayer installation
fallow the onscreen instruction

Slayer install EvoX dashboard and all software you need.. it's a "nobrainer" installation cd.

no need to put dummy files
just burn the iso with burn image in nero and you are done (finalize the cd)
btw since you are refreshing this thread every minutes
I will ask a questiondid you buy your modchip from eb2k ? if so, how long it took to get it ?
