Just wondering if the Chameleon is any good. I was thinkning of getting a lite 2.2+, but not sure.

the chameleon is a great chip.. and is also a good one to start off with its easy and simple just follow the toturials

Well, you aren't going to get too much negative on the Xodus forum, but let me try to give you some other perspectives.

I've installed Matrix, Xecutor & Chameleon.

There is NO doubt the Chameleon has THE best no-solder install.  Once it's in, it's in.  It ain't moving.  The idea of using a spring wire instead of a pogo on D0 is outstanding.  My buddies Xecutor shifts anytime he bumps his xbox.

Ability to switch & flash banks via EvoX is very very cool.  Makes it easy to test new bios without screwing up your XBox.

it's all good except matrix and xectuer plus or any of the old pogo pins type.

I have a version 1.1 JD. BTW my friend stripped the screw hole for the modchip to be fastened on the motherboard, is there anyother way to secure the modchip down?

drill the hole right through and use a small nut and bolt!
