You are not the only one that did not have problems, the other ones are hapily playing their xbox and not bothered to report back

The method you used is actually one of the most prefered ways to setup the cameleon (lift-drag the spring wire to the d0 point, don't touch the motherboard while dragging!)

I have also not had any problems installing the chip. screen booted up first time...but i am having a little bit of trouble getting my evox bios flashed onto the chameleon.. any ideas?

well i got a dud chip the first time. i tried completely re-installing it twice (taking out all header pins, wired), to no luck. all of the voltage readings were correct on the d0 and stuff. I sent back the chip, got the replacement. i stuck it onto the header pins, soldered the d0 wire onto the chip and it worked perfectly first time.

1.0 xbox
desoldered the filled in holes for sh*ts and giggles
had some problems because man was i stupid and didn't realize the screw only worked when you had the board back in the xbox (don't ask)
but yeah, works great!
god bless the chameleon.

Thanks. I will be making an update very soon to incorporate the 1.4 and 1.5 changes once I play with those boxes a bit.
