there could be a number of reasons for the symptoms described .. the most obvious is a flashed onboard tssop ? ..

Over and above that things start to get technical .. It could be possible that your D0 line is not being held high (5v) anymore , and therefore u r always booting from LPC .. to prove this u can try removing your matrix .. if your xbox does not boot .. then the chances r that ther is either something wrong with your tssop or d0 line..

are you sure you have all the files named right
