Now one more concerning issue about this ... I was tryin to see if it would by holding it in place with my hand and turning the xbox on . (i did this with the chip set to 'on' ) and when I got a green lgiht... I heald it in place, turned it on and it still displayed that error screen saying 'your xbox is fucked.. you need repairs .. eror 16 .. ra ra ra'

was I retarted to try this? and is there a reason it wasn't working even though I had a green light on the matrixchip ??

Post by: loupham on September 25, 2003, 09:59:00 AM: If u don't want to drill right thru your box. Here's how i did mine. Take off the motherboard and put a screw from thru the mb thru the bottom ... screw mb back and you can use a nut to screw down the matrix from the top ...
