Title: Matrix Or X-2.1 Lite?

i thought executer x-2.1 lite was better than matrix how come on the vote, more people have matrix....im getting a mod chip and im just wondering wut was the best one to possible get at this point

I would definately get x2.1 lite, but if you cannot solder or install anything I would stick to the matrix.  The only downside is that it is only 256k.

I would recomend either x2.1 lite or chameloen.  I have found the chameleon is a great chips, especially with the software control dip switches.

its XBE control - X2 also has software control - but its something that you would use almost never as its a gimmick - lets be honest

but you HAVE to use evox to use it - many are switching to the other dashboards like avalaunch as they are offering more features and updates

if you simple want the best just wait a few weeks for an X3 as X2 is 8-9 months old now (*hint*) hehe

In that case, just get the X2Lite+, which is also solderless, and does more than the matrix.

The reason more people have the matrix is because it's been around a lot longer.

If you want the solderless chip definetly the Matrix... I have both M and X2 light and the pogo on the M are very precise... the X2 pogo look like they were hand installed and soldered  
 If you want to solder  the choice is betwen X2 and Cham.... not a big diffrence betwen 2 except that Cham is cheaper and has some extra features (software control)

Uber i am totaly with you!  I own a x2pro and a cham, the only reason i bought the cham is because of the price, i woulda stuck with my x2pro because cham is nothing but a console destroyer.  And the extra options are stupid and, did anyone even use them yet?  Well some might, people just say cham is the best because someone wrote alot of crap about it spoofing it.  X2 still has my vote, cham is a spoofed up console destructo!  Aside the price, wow that was nice at 25 bucks.  I dont think cham even gives the newbs a tut on how to use the "software controll able led".

pre-order baby.  No one probably has lite 2.1 or pro 2.1 in right now.  easybuy2k if you want a cham or matrix, think those are back ordered too though.

Oh yea, they usally dont change your visa untill the chip is shipped anyhow, so you wont be out the cash when you pre-order

Well, you can get Xecuter light 2.1 at (i believe this addy is right) www.theconsolecorner.com, or try www.tcc.com, not sure...

But, The console corner has the 2.1 light e's

i dont know what is going on but i just installed another chameleon (13th) today, this time in a 1.2xbox (all others were 1.0's or 1.1's) and i STILL have not had a problem, given the price it is def the best chip out there.

The Matrix is by far WAY better than the X2 lite +.
To tell you the truth, the X2 lite + is pain in the padded ass to line up properly.
Your really flying blind when your installing it. Theres no indicator like on the Matrix telling you have it lined up right. If your going solderless, get the Matrix its just so much easier to install. Plus the X2 lite chips come flashed with the dreadful cornwall BIOS and your gonna have a fun time trying to get it off if you have a picky DVD-Rom drive. And that’s another thing that makes the Matrix better, is it comes with a programmer.

The only drawback I see if that it will only accept 256k BIOSes, but I don’t think we will see BIOSes over 256k for a long time.
