DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE X2 POGO PIN ADAPTER ON CHAMELEON!

X2 POGO PIN ADAPTER IS 5V !!! IT WILL FRY YOUR CHAMELEON (its 3.3V)

and please stop posting things you dont know about
it will only cause damage

Just wait for the Chameleon solderless adapter

well that's good to know....it is getting pretty hard to distinguish fact fom fiction.......clold said it so confidently in his post...that's why I asked if it could be used unmodified

Ravencry, the X2 pogo pin adaptor is just a passthrough adaptor for the LPC bus.  It basically give you a pin header without having to solder.  You won't fry your Chameleon by plugging it into the X2 pogo adaptor.

Ok - quick note to anyone that is thinking about using their Chameleon as a Matrix 'Add-On' chip.

DON'T!

If you do that, you're just killing a perfectly good Matrix mod chip.  The Chameleon adds no functionallity to the Matrix, it kills the Matrix and uses it as a pogo-pin adapter.  I understand the confusion of a lot of newbies out there, as the Chameleon is marketed as a Matrix 'Add-On'.  100% of the Chameleon features are available without the Matrix.

If you really need the solderless option, just buy the Matrix and use that.  For most people out there, the added features of the Chameleon are going to sit unused.  If you have to have the latest and greatest, wait for the Chameleon Pogo adapter that'll surely be out soon.

LOL @ ravencry.  X2 adaptor has NO active components on it.  What, the circuit traces on the PCB are designed for prefferential 5V treatment?  Go away, man.
