I had no problem at all installing the Chameloen in mode 4. Everything works perfectly and flashing from the default Linux bios was simple. However, the user manual states that by powering the box using the power button that bank 1 will be selected. On my unit, bank 0 is selected. I just played around by flashing the different banks to figure this out. Also by downloading the user manual from Xodus and appending the recommended lines to the evox.ini makes flashing and booting from the your bank of choice, very innovative and user friendly options (perhaps for advanced users). If you have little or limited knowledge of chip installation, file manipulation or no common sense to read a user manual, this chip is not for you... |
