Maybe the moderators of www.XBOX-SCENE.com can get us some answers seeing that they are involved in an affiliate program with them and are undoubtable getting some sort of kick back for all the members and guests that have ordered after following the link on any of the pages at XBOX-SCENE.

Anyway, you can program your chameleon once it is seated in your xbox. All you have to do is make a disc with a bios image, then load the cd, and chameleon will update itself. I forget the specifics of the whole process, but that's the gist of things.

You don't exactly see me complaining though).Sheesh, I have a feeling EasyBuy2000 is trying to clean up their reputation, try to cut them some slack. A lot of customers who had the patience and the balls to pre-order early SHOULD be receiving theirs first. For the those of us who waited until the last minute to do it, well we damn well deserve getting it late.
By the way, the pre-order and the waiting happens whenever a "fantastic" new chip comes out. That doesn't exclude the Xectuer2. MANY X2 retailers found themselves backordered when the the X2 first arrived.

Now... if they haven't charged you yet, that's one less thing to complain about.

Well they announced they would jack up prices April 27th according to XBOX-SCENE's news archive. I believe May 8th was the last day you could get them for $25 plus shipping

I would not and DO NOT have a problem with having to wait my turn. My only beef is that the easybuy web site touts their great customer service capabilities. Contact us anytime. When in fact you can't get in touch with anyone there anytime. It would at least be nice if they had someone answering the phone and not giving the appearance that they don't give a $#|+ about the people that are giving them business. I can't help but get the feeling that they only have 2 people working there and they spend most of the day in the loading docks.

Heh, actually it's probably only a few people who work there.
If you have a problem contacting them, try contacting them by e-mail or their online chat feature. They respond to all my e-mails within the business day. It's my first time dealing with them, and well... to tell you the truth I don't really know why ANYBODY complains. They respond to all my questions amazingly fast (knowing that they probably get thousands of e-mails a day). Maybe they're trying to turn the company around, whatever it is, it seems to be working

Can't remember when I ordered, but it was likely early to mid-April
Does anyone know WHERE you use the tracking number they give you? It doesn't look like UPS or FedEx (it's all numbers) and Canada Post doesn't recognize it. Maybe it's just that they haven't entered it into the system yet.

Just like the X2 series had a TON of people who ordered the chip (which in the end created a backorder for a lot of the X2 retailers). If you guys would sit back and relax a bit, I'm sure you'll see your chip in a couple of weeks (i'd give it anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on how early, or in my case, how late I ordered).

I must say that when I was reading your post, there was a COMPLETE indication that you are in fact a grown, older, and mature man. Your grammer, and vocabulary skills are excellent, and extremely up to par.
Beyond that point, when I posted my reply, I was simply trying to point out the fact that many people who were complaining about the delay in shipping were acting like "impatient little kids." Obviously most of those people who complain are not "little kids" (ages ranging from 5-12).
I agree nobody should accept pitable service, but we have received indication that EasyBuy2000 is trying to revamp it's currently reputation in the market, and shipping orders as fast as possible (under their circumstances). It seems without a doubt that they're shipping Chameleons on a first come, first serve basis, and without a doubt, they're busy at work producing and shipping unbelievable amounts of mod chips. Remember that they started taking pre-orders in MONTHS ago. As a "grown man" you should without a doubt understand that it takes time to produce and ship the chips. The ETA date was only an estimated date of when the FIRST batches of production would arrive at warehouses. It seems that at least MOST of those who pre-ordered on this forum had already understood this, while others, had not. I'm simply telling you that if they took one month to competely fill MULTIPLE months of backorders, that's not too shabby at all. Now if they took four months after ETA, like they did in the past, in order to ship some backorders, I would, like many other past customers, be up in arms.
If you truly did order back in February, I expect that you'll receive news about your chip VERY soon. If you just sat back for a couple of days instead of jumping out your seat so quickly, I'm sure you'll be extremely relieved.

...I received my shipping email (see below) from EB2K...Just in case, I checked their tracking page, it said that I was charged on the 22nd and have a shipping date of the 24th...kinda weird since the email said it shipped and there is the tracking number but the EB2K track page said it ships tomorrow...?
Anyway, I picked the cheapest shipping method when I pre-ordered so is the tracking number (20 digits) for USPS Priority???

Grr...it's stuff like this that pisses me off.
I pre-ordered 3 Chameleons on May 1st, long before the order-now-or-pay-twice-as-much frenzy they created. My chip has not been shipped, my card has not been charged...hell, my order isn't even pending yet - it's still marked as pre-order.
I called EB2K this afternoon. After 3 tries, I finally got someone who tried telling me that the chips had come in this afternoon. I tried telling the dumb hoe that I know she was lying because chips have been shipping out for like a week now, but she wasn't listening.
