Title: Flashing Matrix From Evox

I was sold this is not a safe thing to do.  Some thing about it will smoke the chip and the XBox main board. True, yes or no?

I ask b/c a buddy has the Matrix also and wants me to update his bios. Well I take my chip out b/c I was told it would get killed if I did it from EvoX. But since its a pain to flash the chip with the programmer, I thought I would leave it in the XBox and flash it. But I really dont wanta kill his XBox and chip.
