This happened with the Matrix, and later, to a lesser degree, with the X2s.
I'm concerned because this has the same air of the "Comparison chart" stunt that was called a 'joke' after people assailed Team Xodus for putting it up.
Remember: the "Chameleon" was announced shortly after the X2s started shipping. That was MANY MONTHS AGO. They've been stringing along quite a few people since then.
In my mind, it's dishonest marketing.
...and now we have the stealth stealth feature -so stealthy, it doesn't even appear on the chip.

actually the product shouldnt have ANY delay
I checked on stock levels for all parts incc the CPLD and I could make 20k of them within 3 days if need be - and the SARS hasnt affected shit where we all make our mods
the fact is your dealing with easybuy here - so you should have all expected this
You wont see any cycle of hype for X3 tho. You wont know a single feature or any official announcement until the week it starts to ship
The X2 is still #1 seller so we dont have to damage a competition sales when its our sales that would require the damaging

I'm not going to spend the time to look this up but a couple of week after that tread, can't remember who, but someone on the Xecuter web site post and open apology letter for doing what I was talking about. I don't care one way or another about the Xecuter Team when I'm sure my only complaint about them was the result of one member of the team.
And Mage, what's your problem, I spent five minutes looking for my first post and I knew what I was looking for. You cant tell me that you remember that poll from half a year ago. Unless when someone gets under your skin, you look at all their post for ammunition, like a presidential candidate.

The Matrix is OK, but Team Xodus' relationship EB2K has really hurt them. Pile the disorganization and slow recovery from the satellite bust on top of the latest Chameleon fiasco, and you have the makings of a disaster for them and their customers - yet people like Lordscr comes to the defense of a company who didn't ship Matrix chips for 3 or 4 months, and was the ONLY supplier of these things.
Now they are making excuses for the Chameleon's late arrival; considering EB2K controlled the manufacturing end of the Matrix, it's likely the same holds true for the Chameleon, so we have two possibilities for it's late arrival: 1) Team Xodus fucked up and is STILL developing at the 11th hour (but of course, they claimed to have had this thing working in December) or 2) EB2K hasn't got their shit together and can't deliver a simple part (even nasis x. can manage that) comprised of easy to get parts (CPLDs, common 1mbyte flash chips).
Of course, that 's giving them the benefit of the doubt. I'm not going to start wondering if maybe they suddenly realized $25 was too cheap and are freaking out at having to supply the chip. Oops, maybe I did - but this is farfetched, as it is just too far along to back out now. EB2K and Team Xodus surely wouldn't string people along for 5 months on vaporware, right?
I hope, whatever is happening, it gets straightened out soon. I'd like to check out one of these chips, but the missing 'stealth' feature makes it far less compelling, whatever that feature was.

I don't know were you come up with this stuff.
1. I do not hate the Xecuter Team. I don't care one way or the other about them. Same with the Matrix team.
2. I own a Matrix. I bought it a long time ago.
3. I use a Xecuter Bios. I even say so on my sig, no hiding there.
4. I only had a problem with the way someone on the Xecuter team was slamming the competition at any chance. Sort of like Coke and Pepsi. Coke says their pop is the best, and Pepsi says their pop is better than Coke. Pepsi bugs me, and I don't drink pop.
5. The only way I have ever defended EB2K is by saying that I got a chip within two weeks of ordering, and making people aware that EB2K is in Canada and orders are delayed because of custom.
6. I'm waiting for the two Xecuter chips that I ordered for my friend and myself. I'm selling my matrix to another friend.
In the end with a new Xecuter with a Xecuter Bios and not really giving a shit what's in the box. I'm guessing I'll still be a Matrix Fanboy, even thought I was never a fanboy to begin with.
Another thing, I don't care to talk about this any more.

You are incorrectly assuming that they actually answer the phone. I ordered a Matrix from them and waited for two months calling every week or so while they charged my card and kept delaying shipment. Then the x2's came out and I got one of those instead.
Worst.
