OK, my friend and I sucessfully installed the matrix into my 1.0 version XBOX. Everything looks good and I have been using it for about 2 months now.
However, I noticed that the graphics look really choppy. As if installing the matrix chip did something to the graphics chip.
Then today I decided to play a little so I turned on the machine . . . animation flubber . . . then xbox logo appears (so far so good) then the screen fades into this unreadable image with jagged diagonal lines as if I just disconnected the cable to my television. Its really
wierd.
Thinking that it was an alignment problem I opened the thing up and after about 2 hours of messing with it I realized that it was the cable that connects from the xbox to the TV. I was using a monster cable so I switched to the standard cable that comes with the XBOX.
So now I am back to square 1. My XBOX works but the graphics look choppy. Is there something that I can do about that or have I done something wrong? Please help!! I would like to get this fixed and I want good resolution to be displayed with this new SONY TV I just bought. Also has anyone used the monster cables with their modified XBOX?
Any responses would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
