Ok, somehow I managed to unlock my original xbox hard drive in configmagic without noting the password, which sucks because I have an enigmah with retail bios. So I got error 05. I tried to use various tools on my pc like liveinfo and the win32 hdd driver, but I only was able to relock the drive but not with the right password so now I get error 06 and still can't boot anything. I just received a matrix chip in the mail to replace my enigmah and was wondering if I could do a hard drive switch with a pc drive using a combination of the debug bios flashed onto the matrix and evox. If I prepare the unlocked pc hard drive and stick in my xbox, will the complex debug bios allow me to boot without any errors using a evox cd (like the one mentioned in the hd switch tutorial)?...then I could format the drive in evox and transfer the backup that luckily I made several weeks ago on my pc. Will this work? I don't ever intend on running the retail bios again so I don't care if I can never lock the pc drive.
I wanted to just try running the original xbox hd drive unlocked with the matrix but I can't figure out how to unlock it again.
