It seems like you have a1.0 Xbox (since the LED flashes in Mode 1, it doesn't do this on a 1.1). Then you are using the wrong BIOS. 3.6 is only for 1.1 Xboxes. Go for D.6 instead, it's for both 1.0 and 1.1.

And use Evolution X instead of neXgen, neXgen is still quite buggy.

So, reflash your chip with D.6, get hold of a Evolution X installer CD, and get back with the results. And make sure that your Chip is in mode 2 and have a constant green shine.

BTW, isn't it really stupid to put everything together again until you know it works?

If u have a version 1.0 it must be your programming. for it to see easy just use a color mod that turns the x a differnt color. in mode one u should flash solid green for it to be proper. it only took me 20 secs to align and screw in the chip it is fairly easy. but reprogram or check to see if you programed it poorly. if you have 1.1 then it could like you thought be the alignment. u can tell if you have v1.1 if the lpc points are not filled,  thats the easiest way.

I think is that u don't wait enough..

It's take some time t load nexgen from the harddrive..

When it's from a cdrw i think its take much longer... It's like 8mg its has to load..
Just my thought...

I agree that you're better off using EvolutionX at the moment, NexGen looks promising but sux at the moment (it's to be expected, it's only in beta).
