Title: Red/orange Flash With Matrix In Mode 1

never seen an orange light in mode 1.  u sure you have the dipswitches set right?  only seen orange light in mode 4.

he is in mode 1.

in mode 1 it does flash orange for a second then red
This means it is NOT aligned..

it ALSO flashes orange like 1 time then GREEN IF aligned.

it is test mode.. so it seems to go into some sort of mode first (orange) then goes for connectivity.
green or red.


just realign it till its green.

Sometimes, it can be aligned with a RED LED.  You can try switching the mode and see if you boot with the mod BIOS or not.
