Title: Matrix Bs!
Post by: Knuck3ls on November 13, 2002, 02:35:00 PM
I'm not saying easybuy2000.com sucks because I didn't get my chip, but because I ordered it, and 2 days later they send this:
Dear Customer,

Thank you for making an Order with Easybuy2000. Due to fraudulent practices on the Internet we will have to request to see some Identification: .

1. phone bill  with your name on it

2. Credit Card you used to make the Order with your Name on it.

You can scan those documents and send us by  E-mail  at [email protected] or Fax  1-514-481-6062: Attention Claudia  please make sure that your order number is included on your scanned E-mail or on your Fax.

Once we have received these documents they will be used confidentially with the utmost discretion. We appreciate your understanding on this subject matter, as we are a small Internet Company that feels the need to protect ourselves against the harsh realities of Online Retailing.

If it is possible do not call us, (only if you send your id by fax), it is easier for you and for us to keep in touch by e-mail and do not forget to write your order number.

Regards

What BS!

well thats only cuz your shipping or billing adress is different from the one your credit card has... ph34r.gif

Yep, They have done this with many people.  You will understand this practice a little better if you ever get charges on your credit card that you never made.
