Ok,
I understand that the eject trick is used to flip back and forth between the original bios, and the evox 2.5 or newly flashed bios.

But how does this work.....do i put in a burned game and then eject and put it back in???

Do I need to do it with a legit game (bought)?

Thanks guys,
DEMARAD

Nope, the eject trick allows you to eject the dvd without resetting the box.  What you are referring to is the ability to switch between the mod and onboard bios by pressing the eject button or some other combination of buttons.  You don't need to switch back to the original bios to play anything afaik (yet).

Firstly,
Sorry for the double post...just wanted to make sure I got an opinion on it.

Secondly, thanks for your input.

So, I basically don't need to do the eject trick when trying to play burned games, or bought games...correct?  Just pop either game in and play?

THANKS,
DEMARAD

You don't need mode 3, mode 2 works for both burned and origional games.   I added toggle switches on the outside of my box to be able to switch between the modes, but I have had no reason to actually use it yet (I haven't had it very long though).  It's always in mode 2, and for most people that willl be fine.  It sounds to me like you should put it in mode 2 and have some fun playing games!
