Title: Matrix/xbox Live

If I have evox bios and all the appropriate xboxdash.xbe, evoxdash.xbe, ans msxboxdash.xbe on the c: drive do I need to switch the Matrix chip to mode 3 so my box wont get nuked when I load xbox live for the first time.

I'm sure this question sounds stupid, and maybe it is but I am hoping for an answer.
