| GTac is regressing into an ape again.... you can't flash the on-board TSOP with _any_ modchip that utilizes the LPC header (OpenXBox, Xodus, CheapMod, etc). Even switching the modchip off or physically disabling wires (clipping or with a switch) will not remedy this; it is not possible. In order to flash the onboard chip, you need to use one of the 'original' 29 wire modchips and either install a switch or clip the correct wires (don't know which ones offhand). | The general consesus goes against what I know about a PC BIOS. Which is, the BIOS is only used at boot time. I've flashed a broken BIOS by replacing it with a working one after the PC has booted. Using this knowledge, it should be possible to flash an xbox BIOS in the same way. |
