Title: Clevermod Advance 32.
Post by: Loser_guy on February 18, 2006, 09:57:00 PM
Ok, I found a modchip laying around in my brother's(pedro) room. It's a clevermod advance 32.

I soldered it up to my xbox(v1.4) to see if it worked, and it did!

So I called my friend who was interested in modding his box, and I picked it up to see what version it was.
I have it laying apart here, turns out to be a 1.6. Will this chip work in his box? Also, where are the D0 And BT alternates on a 1.6?

thanks,
Loser_guy

I assume this is a standard LPC bus based modchip which installs with LPC pinheader+D0+BT?

If it is then you would have to do an LPC rebuild, theres a good guide on doing this on the bottom of this tutorial page: http://www.hackdabox...in_Install.html

Look for the part where it says do this if you have a 1.6 Xbox.  After that there are different D0 and BT points.

Hey, thinks for the link.

But the chip doesn't have an L1 solder point, will that still work?
