Title: Top Loading Dvd Drive

So i was wondering if it would be possible to make a top loading dvd drive cause i gotta say that would work allot better for me then the current tray thing(because of my crazy cat) also it would look allot cooler well thanks for the help.

you should probably buy a pc top-loading dvd drive though(if you can find one)..

you could probably do it. You would have to take off the top of the dvd drive case and then pop the cog off and place it over the disc on the spindle. The only problem is that the xbox will not realize when a disc is inserted so you would either have to press eject twice anyway, or reset the xbox.

Alot of dangerous radiation/laser is released when you take the top off. I wouldnt suggest doing it, but hey, if you want to that bad go ahead.
