everyone i have talked to said to avoid memorex cd-rw at all cost because xbox has trouble with them not sure if it will help you or not but i would reccommend trying a differant kind of cd-rw, maybe a fuji film or something like that (sorry if this doesn't help you)

join the club. had to reburn like 5x and set to track at once. finally it booted. but then it wouldnt, then took another few times, then got it installed. xbox seems very picky with evolution-x for some reason. i do think its because of the small size. keep trying. it will eventually boot.

Assuming you have access to a dvd-r, burn Evo-X onto a DVD-R. Even tiny discs (I burned a DVD-R with just XFlash and it works great) boot up just fine when on DVD-R. It may seem like a waste of an expensive blank, but it's nice to have a reliablly booting copy of EvoX anyway--if you ever screw up anything with your XBox HD you'll always be able to bootup your disc of EvoX and fix it.
