Make sure you have the xman954 eeprom backup tool on your xbox. You can use the evox dashboard for that purpose as well.
You can temporary disable the virtual eeprom by adding a EEPROM_off.bin file to the e:\nkp11 folder or to the root of your E partition.
Upon the next reboot, you can backup your eeprom after you checked that it is running NTSC.
You can overwrite the eeprom.bin file which is used as virtual eeprom file with the backup you created.
Altough it will run xbmc in ntsc mode from that moment, it might be safe to reenable the virtual eeprom. (delete the EEPROM_off.bin file.)
