have u tryed a diffrent tv?
i had a prob with a v1.1 xbox playing black and white on a plasma but worked fine on other tv's.

Thanks for the reply.

Well i'm not sure what TV the owner was trying this on, but it was tried at work on a small tube tv, and now on my 26 LCD. Can always give it a go on my other TV which is a 27 tube, but doubt thats the issue.

The xbox was built in 2005 which most likely means a 1.6

Could the Video Chip be defective in that sens, or issues with it would render the xbox image less ?

the screen is progressive scan i thinktry diffrent tvs
