you have the colors backwards on component wires

it had something blocking the red from getting a signal.. might not have been plugged into the xbox properly.. glad you fixed it then

GREEN caries color info   so if it isnt working it will be black and white    just try it   unplug your green connector    note: some TV's will just not show anything if this is done
