Title: Xbox Mic With Karaoke Revolution

Hello,

I require some assistance from the educated community out there. I recently bough one of those black and green mics for karaoke revolution. I think it is from konami?
Anyhow, when I plug it into the controller the green light turns on so it looks like it is powered and detected. When I am in the game and I plug in the mic, it is detected, when I pull it out, the game asks me to plug the mic back in. This indicates to me it seems like the mic should be working. The problem is, when I sing or try to test sound, there is NO SOUND being picked up by the mic. What could be wrong? I checked and there is no explicit on/off buttom and connections seem ok. This is really frustrating and I would appreciate any and all help in this matter.

My best guess is that you have a short in your mic's cable. I know for a fact that the Microsoft Microphone works fine with this game, as my wife plays with ours all the time.
