To get XBMC on HD on my new sony 32" LCD which supports 720p and 108i.
Do i simply change the settings and buy the official component cable?
May seem obvious but couldnt find ther answer.

You have to enable the settings in the MS Dash after plugging in the new cable, then set XBMC up.

I'm a pal user too - so will I have to switch to NTSC to enable hidef with the leads?

Yeah, just add the enigmah switching step in after plugging in the new cables. Switch to NTSC, then go change stuff in the MS Dash.
Atleast that's the way I did it.

Right, I can only get the leads one place in the UK. Divineo - I trust them anyway.
Where did you get your from?
Thanks

What do you mean by your TV cant handle the settings?
What?! Only £7.95 - thats good compared to the £25 on divineo.
Mind you - its not official, I wonder if its any good.
They do sell the official one too, actually. Which one did you purchase?

You can also buy official and unofficial HD-packs from Lik-Sang, who also ship from/in europe. I have seen quite a few good opinions about them.
-
So does anyone think the unofficial ones arent as good?

Dont like double posting - but...
Anyone?
