Title: Games Won't Load When I Change Video Settings

holy shit, ive been trying to figure out this problem for over a week now and didnt realize until i read your post.  just like you i just bought a widescreen lcd tv, switched settings to widescreen via ms dash.

all the discs i use are backups and i was unable to play burnout revenge, but all my other games play fine, thats what really pisses me off and burnout is basically the only one i want to play.

we need to figure out a solution to this prob, i wonder if the component cables will fix this?  let me know if you tried that way, if not ill go get some cables tomorrow.

i might have a solution for you.  It worked for me!!

if you're using evox as your dash goto system setting and change the game region to "Default".  This is the only setting that allowed me to play my games from the HDD.

you didnt say what dash you're using, if other than evox, check to see if you can change the game region.

You know i'm doing the same thing except my Dash is Avalaunch. I changed the settings to Widescreen in M$Dash and it still works fine. All my games load without an issue. Only my Startup screen is Homosexual.

Having the same problem...except mines, always been on default...games will not load on widescreen, only like 1 in 5 load.
