Hey All,
Im new so help a fellow gamer out. Ill start by mentioning that my xbox is modded and i don't know which chip it is (which what i've read so far that doesnt matter). I bouhgt that Xbox Hi-Def AV Pack w/ component cables last week and hooked it up to my LCD Tv. I changed the video settings in the original MS Dash widescreen and changed the all of the resolutions (420,720, & 1080) to the 'On' position. I restarted the xbox and as soon as the Avalaunch dash appers the screen flickers.
THEN.... i changed the settings back to the previous and took a look at the Avalaunch video settings and noticed that my three resolutions (420,720, & 1080) say disabled. When i try to enable them i get a message that reads "Can not make changes to Eeprom when HDD is locked." So i then noticed a setting in that same screen that says "HDD Lock: Enabled (Click to toggle)". Now i've been clicking my 'BUT' off and nothing is happening. Can someone tell me straight forward what i am suppose to do?
...And yes my LCD is Hi-Def 420,720, & 1080 capable.
