Title: Killed The Audio Output On An Xbox
Post by: richship on September 14, 2005, 04:50:00 AM
Guys,

I'd be grateful for any advice here - I think I killed the audio output on an xbox but can't believe it was this easy...

What I did was unplug & re-insert the a/v cable while the power was on; it's a standard cable w/ optical output, not hi-def or anything. The stereo/ac3 sound was fine before, it's dead now.

I tried the original xbox a/v cable again with no joy, and have double-checked the amp and optical cables anyway and they're all fine. All the system settings look fine too.

Have I really blown something or have i missed something obvious?

Cheers

Rich
