Title: Hdtv On Projector?

Alright so i just got a projector This one

now what do I need to get it to shoot hi def for some halo 2

dont want to have to open xbox or wire anything just parts
i can buy

so it will be a little better quality if i play it on a Projector then a tv

All you need is the hi-def pack for the xbox. The projector supports this type of input.

Well I havnt recieved it yet my dad was the one who bought it so its on its way though

So Is composite the yellow cable that came with the xbox or is it somthing different

I see so the Hi def pack will have the red green and blue and i just put that adapter on to it

alright great

so now all i have to do is buy the hii def pack and the adapter
and im all set
also how much would a surround sound setup go for
basic nothing to spendy

That would be nice and then all i do is hook it up to a reciever

sorry what i ment was that there is a hi def cable and then there is just the audio cable and then the good one that is the all in one
i guess
kinda get me now

alright time to go influence my dad to get this stuff hopefully

Here is a picture of my Monster Cable for the XBOX.

Note that near the end that connects to the back of the XBOX there is a small opening.  This is where you would connect the TosLink cable (actually, you need an adapter which plugs into the cable - and then the TosLink cable plugs into the adapter)

So this cable handles both Component video AND Digital Audio. (This cable also has the standard White and Red RCA audio cables if you choose not to go with digital audio)

I purchased my current XBOX using aeroplan points from FutureShop - and it came with the Monster Cable as well as the DVD Playback kit and two games, so I don't know how much it cost (it did cost my 67,000 points though!! lol) - but I've seen similar cables at EB games for around CDN $70

Sorry, but I can't compare the video or audio quality with the Hi-Def pack because I've never seen the Hi-Def pack.
