Title: Xbox Menu Sounds
Post by: tibncampe on October 04, 2004, 05:20:00 PM
Kind of a two part question

1- I have a mod and all that and the Evox menu, how can I change the boot up sound that xbox makes and all of the other menu sounds? and can it automatically start playing music in the browser? and what format?

2- When I copy a CD using the old Dashboard where does the file go? I cannot find it and can I put mp3s there? and can I make games play mp3 files on the cutsom soundtrack?

Thanks

Currently no one has a way to change the sound the XBOX makes when it boots up, but I think the makers of Kernal Basher or IND BIOS may come out with one soon.

Evox never made it possible to have sounds when you switch between menu items and it does not support playing music in the Background. However, Avaluach does support music in the Background and so does XBMC with python installed. Neither have a diffinitive way for sounds when switching betweeen items.

As for the copying, it copies it to
