Title: Phoenix To Load A Vga Bios?
Post by: brilliantdonkey on August 18, 2004, 12:12:00 AM
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I already tried several searches and didn't come up with any results.

If I load a VGA bios through PBL, will it work for VGA output?

Thanks all.

Easy.  happy.gif

Just follow the instructions in VGA Patcher v0.8, and at the very end of the instructions (before you repack the BIOS) be sure you check the 'BFM' option in XBtool, and it will make a BFM-compatible VGA BIOS. Then just rename the resulting file to xboxrom.bin and place it in the PBL directory and you should be set.

NOTE: You need the extra config files for XBtool in order to be able to create a BFM BIOS. Google is your friend for finding these files.

If you have any trouble creating a BFM VGA BIOS, feel free to PM me.  happy.gif
