hey everyone...
i'm wondering if anyone knows of any current software or anything being developed to allow a USB Webcam to be used with an xbox... i've read that (of course) its possible with a linux distro... but any xdk homebrew apps that support it?
i'm designing an in-car system, and this would be a CHEAP and pretty straightforward way to have surveillance in a car... as well as for users wanting to setup a security box for the house...
for my personal use (in the car, actually a modified 4x4 truck that makes some areas behind/below hard to see) recording wouldnt even be necessary... just being able to stream the webcam (or multiple usb cams :) to a screen would be enough... but for home surveillance that would be required (motion detection, all that jazz)
anyone have any info or ideas that'd be AWESOME!
if/when that MS cam becomes available this might be implemented by more developers i would imagine... but a cheap no-name usb webcam would be better in my opinion...
thanks again
