Title: Monster 400x W/100x Optical Issue

I assume you turned on the dashboard settings for 5.1 DD and DTS in the MS dash.  I have the same setup 400x/100 into a receiver.

Sounds like it might be the unit itself.  Mine was fairly plug and play.

Got it to work. I unplugged the main connection at the back then started the unit. Then plugged it back in and turned it on. Works.

Now all I need is a Fiber Optical Y splitter because I also have a Optical connection from a DVD player using the same receiver. Anyone know of any
?

Darn, I don't believe they have shipping to Canada. Anyone know of a Digital Optical Spliter/Selector here in Canada?

radio shack carried some optical/tosling splitters. I bought one a while ago but never got around to using it since I upgraded receivers instead. hehehehehe

Thanks, anyone else know of any other locations here in Canada?

Unless you are really interested in his specific receiver there are plenty with multiple optical inputs.  Basically one per source or at least primary source.  This is very common.

Come to think of it my Yamaha RX-V955 receiver has many Digital Fiber Optical connections.  rolleyes.gif
