Title: Fuzzy S-video
Post by: tricksterg on May 17, 2004, 01:11:00 PM
I get a "snowy" s-video screen.  the AV input with the RCA cables is not fuzzy though.  I am using an offbrand AV cable.  Is it because i took all the metal out of my case?  Could radio be interfereing?  also i saw that the dvd power cord is sitting right on top of the av jack on the mobo.  Any suggestions?

Ouch, you took ALL of the shielding out?

eh, why?

Yes this could indeed be to blame, though it may not be the only source of problem.

They didn't spend all that money to put the sheilding in for no reason.

shielding is going back in tonight,  on the contrary people put their boxes in a plexiglass case w/ no problems.
