Title: Xbox To Dvi Monitor?

They make DVI to VGA adapters... so you can always do it that way.

Yeah those cheap little dongles work just fine...

Of course you also need something like the X2VGA adapter too.

Just don't expect to get DVI quality out of an Xbox as it doesn't do digital video output. When you use the dongle, the quality will still be VGA, the signal is just sent through a different plug.

I want to do the same thing.  Run an xbox on a flat panel through DVI.  Only I don't want to run it through a VGA adaptor cause that kind of defeats the purpose.  Is there anyway to hook it up DVI and keep the higher signal quality?

No the Xbox has no digital output per-se.

Don't discount the VGA boxes though, at least in 480p they look as good as DVI.

Beyond that is where "there be monsters".
