Ooooooh crap, every one got it fix.  I CANT wait till I go home tonight and try this Enigmah switcher. I have the same problem like you guys had.  My has picture and sound, but the video output is skipping(like an old black and white tv that is broken)
So, I will  need a dummy file in the dvd/cdrw also?

Woohoo, Enigmah rock.  It was the region was messing me up.  It was set at PAL instead of NTSC-M

I made a boot disk with the Video Selector program on it. I only put the Video Selector program on the disk. I booted the XBOX up, and I could hear the CD spinning, and I noticed that the XBOX wasnt trying to keep re-booting itself. So I just pressed the B button, and then turned the XBOX off. It came on, and now the video is back.

I did the same thing, I messed up the setting in the XBMP.

Try differ disks, or diff burning programs, this program is a life saver, and it will work for you.

FINALLY got it working... I finally got my video back and I had sound (temporarily), until I put the cover back on my xbox...  I'm guessing I might have pinched some wires or something (any ideas)... but, the fix was to re-flash the EEPROM.. Legal EEPROM Flash.

It was a pain, considering I have the Matrix, but got it done, then reflashed the chip to X2 4977, and everything (minus sound), is working great!

I made the iso, and tested it on a samsung clad xbox, and the program was functional, but when we tried it on the phillips drive (with the messed xbox) nothing happaned except a beeping noise from the dvd rom. Is the xbox having problems reading the rw? should I swap out dvd roms?

Is there anyway to apply this fix on an unmodded xbox.  If no, can the box be modded in this condition.

I followed those instructions to the letter. Before I did, my Xbox was playing the startup audio, but not video. After I ran the video switcher and rebooted, still no video, and now I get green/red flashing on the power LED. Any ideas?
