First off, I have tried the video format converter and the xbox is in PAL as it should.
Does anyone have any idea of what's wrong? I thought maybe it's the audio/video out connector on the back of the box that may have been abused a bit and lost it's connection to the motherboard on one pin or so, can that be it? If so is it hard to solder it back together? Maybe it's lost the contact to ground?
Are there any SW issues that can get the Xbox to behave like this?
