Title: Some Games Crashing Due To 480p, 1080i, And Ws?

Update your bios to the 4981.06 bios and see what happens.  SHould fix the problem

Luckily I ran into your post. I was running in circles with a couple games that wouldn't work for me. Here is my post for reference.
