I don't know what else to tell you other than check your connections. Could you provide any more information?

i only get stereo through ny xbox both in games and movies. i can't change my audio settings in my ms dash because it isn't present.
do u have the xbox hooked up with an advanced av/HD pack? you need to have your xbox hooked up to your receiver/speakers with a digital optical cable using the advanced av pack or the HDTV pack. if you don't have either of those two then that's why you're only getting stereo.

well,
try backing up your xbox C drive for safe keeping of all your settings) and putting the standard backup you made when first modding back on (you did back up C and E didnt you?)
then enable dolby digital in the xbox dash settings, and do a fresh install of evox 'n stuff, that'll get you going
if there's no audio setting in the xbox dash, then obviously some files or other are missing / screwed up, so a reinstall of C-drive is the quickest, painless way to do this :-)
after all, factory xboxes all have the audio option, don't they!
if you dont have a backup, then slayers auto install has a restore dash option, use that, but of course, make a backup first

Maybe I misunderstood but it sounds like you aren't running the standard MS Dash anymore. You'll need that to make your audio choices.
